SROI Practitioner Training - 2 Day Course (2012- 2013)

With the Social Value Act now law, the growing importance for tangible evidence regarding social and environmental value is now a bigger issue than ever before, not just for organisations outwardly seeking to affect change in society but for any organisation or individual who wishes to be accountable for their work. 

The SROI Network training course has been accredited by the Institute of Leadership Management. It, like other courses that contribute to the accredited practitioner status, is delivered by accredited practitioners that are also experienced trainers.

Training will be delivered by SROI Network accredited practitioners.

DAY 1 - How to do an SROI analysis

Day one is a practical, step-by-step introduction to the SROI process. We’ll begin with some theory but the process is best learnt by trying it, so candidates will learn how to develop an impact map – the heart of the SROI process – and explore appropriate real life examples.

DAY 2 - SROI Practitioner Training

Day two covers, in more depth, issues that practitioners will need to demonstrate an understanding of if they wish to become accredited (additional fee - see assurance section).

Although designed with the assurance process in mind, this course is suitable for anyone wanting more than just an introduction to SROI. Current issues will be discussed, best practice and techniques shared and lots of examples explored.

This Course & Accreditation

Anyone wishing to become a SROI Network accredited practitioner will need to have attended both days. Day 2 is more in depth and builds on day 1. Training does not guarantee accreditation, but is a necessary step towards becoming an accredited practitioner.

UK Training provided by the New Economics Foundation

Our course covers all the methodology and practical guidance needed to carry out an SROI analysis to the highest standard for you and your organisation. Furthermore, the course is an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Development Course, and all SROI training participants are entitled to a year’s studying membership of the ILM.

SROI Canada Practitioner Training

SROI Canada is offering SROI Accredited Practitioner Training on behalf of The SROI International Network.

This training is being organized by SiMPACT Strategy Group, on behalf of SROI Canada. SiMPACT is currently providing administrative and back-end support to the SROI Canada Secretariat.

SROI Accreditation Training is a two-day course. Previous valuation, outcomes evaluation, or SROI experience is highly recommended. It is also recommended that you come with a case study in mind for your SROI accreditation case.

COST PER PARTICIPANT:

Day One only, $795 + tax (applicable provincial taxes apply. HST in BC, MB and ON; GST in AB)

Full Course, including Case Review, $2250 + tax (highly recommended for anyone seeking accreditation)

Full Course, without Case Review, $1850 + tax

Case Review Cost (when separate transaction), £540 paid directly to The SROI Network (in British Pounds)
