We have expertise in four broad areas- communities, economies, skills and enterprise- and particular specialism's including the Third Sector and volunteering, crime and criminal justice, consulting and engaging 'hard to reach' young people, and worklessness and employability.

Consulting Inplace is a national economic and social policy consultancy with expertise across four broad areas- communities, economies, skills and enterprise. We work for a huge range of clients across the UK in the public, private and voluntary sectors on a diverse and exciting range of consultancy projects. We offer a range of services including the formative and summative evaluation of programmes, themes and projects, forward planning and strategy development, feasibility studies, and output, outcome and impact analysis. In particular, we help public and third sector clients to discover what works and demonstrate the wider impact of their interventions via evaluations that identify 'softer outcomes', such as those captured by SROI. *Please note that Consulting Inplace is the former UK social and economic policy arm of WM Enterprise.
