Save the Date - The SROI Network International Conference: "A time for social value" 16th-17th February 2012, Berlin

The SROI Network is pleased to announce plans for The SROI Network International Conference – “A time for social value” which will be held on the 16th-17th February 2012, 30 minutes from Central Berlin at the University of Potsdam, Campus Griebnitzsee.

As the world continues to face social and environmental challenges, the level of interest in social and environmental impact continues to increase. Social and impact investors and public sector commissioners increasingly want to know how much value their investment creates, and social entrepreneurs are recognising the importance of maximising the value they can create for those they serve.

Behind this interest is the question – how much social value are we creating? The SROI Network International Conference will explore how social return on investment, the framework and principles, can help answer this.

The conference is organised in cooperation with iq consult as part of the project "entersocial Good Practice Transfer", funded by the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Women and Family of the Federal State of Brandenburg by means of the European Social Fund and the Federal State of Brandenburg.

Preparations are now underway, and we ask you to save the date and spread awareness of what promises to be a fantastic event. Further information will be available soon.
